Amazonía Emprende runs Escuela Bosque or Forest School which is a knowledge, incubation and training hub for the development and replication of nature-based solutions (NbS) in collaboration with the local communities of the Amazon region of Colombia. It educates visitors, primarily local communities, enterprises, and university students, about the social, environmental, and economic benefits of NbS along with innovative models of implementing them. It also connects locals with enterprises to generate value chains of the NbS and carbon footprint offsetting to restore degraded lands.
