Atlantic Sea Farms creates sustainable products from farmed seaweed, while supporting fishing communities and reducing the effects of ocean acidification. The company partners with fishermen to provide supplemental income through kelp farming during the off-season. It operates the largest seaweed nursery in the Western Hemisphere and removes an average of 8,000 lbs of carbon and 200 lbs of nitrogen from the ocean per farm per year.
