BitaGreen develops software and maps that identify how urban green infrastructure (GI) helps reduce flooding and increase quality of life. BitaGreen its decision support tool allocates urban GI based on integrated assessment and valuation, showing the impact of GI on urban hydrology; value and asses the co-benefits for the public and private sectors; support decision-makers at different levels to design sustainable urban development plans; raise awareness of the impact of retrofitting assets and properties with GI. We provide an operational tool to manage urban flooding and water security while complying with policies targeting climate change adaptation and sustainable development.
