ElectricFish builds flexible microgrid units for fast electric vehicle charging and emergency power resources for grid-constrained fleets. Backed by three patents, its system is easy to move, does not require trenching, and works with a site’s existing grid. Its units keep energy costs low and renewable energy use high by peak shifting to avoid fossil fuel consumption on the grid. It participates in locally available grid services programmes to boost grid resilience. It is the recipient of awards from the California Energy Commission; the Department of Homeland Security, IBEW and National Park Service have recognized its technology for its ease of deployment and resilience.
