About

Green Pocket Forests is an initiative to green urban spaces using the Miwayaki method, an ultra-dense tree planting technique. It works with schools, cities, corporations and other organizations in the United States to facilitate a community-building planting process that results in greener, healthier and more connected communities. By collecting sponsorships, Green Pocket Forests has engaged hundreds of volunteers, teachers and over 1,200 school children in foresting and rewilding over 14,000 square feet of land.
