Nufuels has developed a compact and simple integrated energy system, based on pyrolysis, that converts plastic bag and bottle waste into energy suitable for local cooking, baking, drying and electricity. Nufuels' efficient retort system produces both gas and a viscous plastics crude, offering a versatile, eco-friendly solution for local energy needs while addressing plastic waste challenges. Developed under a NZAID project in collaboration with Caritas Aotearoa New Zealand, the system caters to Pacific communities and environmentally-conscious tourism operators.
