RONAP is an association of Amazonian Brazil nut collectors from the Madre de Dios region, founded by local members to organize the commercialization and conservation of their forests. The association leverages technology to monitor and improve the health of the plantations and works on market positioning and export to offer collectors a fair price for their products. The association also drives social benefits through a fund to support community members during health or other emergencies and creates opportunities for the children or grandchildren of collectors.
