The project is providing a framework to address all the existing issues in the value chain and create untapped value: Forestry management is replanting and maintaining the shea forests and supporting soil regeneration; scaling processing activity centres will provide clean water, renewable energy, safe and efficient equipment to enhance revenues, health and impact of the women shea processors and their communities; and financial and ESG data collection. The increased level of revenues will create knowledge and jobs resulting in a continuous motivation for the communities to protect the shea forests. Real-time schematizied ESG data is uploaded onto blockchain based technologies (Chain Zy) at every step of the supply chain (circular economy). The project is supporting transition to African owned global retail sales of organic shea butter cosmetic products
